Sewcial Circle: Library Stitch Lab

Do you have some pants that need hemming, or maybe you finally want to finish that pillow you started last year? How about learning to sew in general? Sewing is an age-old skill and hobby that’s hard for people to access these days. But the Lakes Region Library is ready to provide for all your sewing needs and education!
Introducing our new program “Sewcial Circle”! Once a month starting on Friday, October 24th at 10:00 AM, the library will provide an open space and various materials for sewing. This includes sewing machines, scrap fabric, cutting mats, and even some patterns! While these materials are provided it is recommended that participants bring any specialty items that they may need. Joining the Sewcial Circle is a great opportunity to share your knowledge, learn from others, and get those pesky projects off your to-do list!
Library programs are free and open to the public. To learn more about this program, visit our online calendar at attend.citruslibraries.org/events or call the Lakes Region Library at (352) 726-2357.
