What are STEM Discovery Kits?
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education broadens kid’s understanding of the world and helps them learn problem-solving skills that can help throughout their lives.
These kits, geared toward children in grades 3 through 5, can be checked out with a library card and are great for virtual learning, homeschooling, and for reinforcing concepts taught at school.
Each kit is themed on a STEM concept and includes books, projects, and an interactive toy to guide in STEM discovery.
2 kits can be checked out at a time for a period of 2 weeks. Kits can be renewed if there are no holds on the kit.
Kits must be returned to the circulation desk of your library.
STEM Discovery Kits were funded through a grant from the Women of Sugarmill Woods. Additional funding was given by the Friends of the Library.
