Author Talk: Maxim Furek

Join paranormal author Maxim W. Furek for a presentation on the topic of his new book, “The Smurl Haunting: When Ed and Lorraine Came to Town.” The event will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Central Ridge Library located in Beverly Hills. There will be a second event at the Homosassa Library on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM featuring “Paranormal Apocalypse.”
Maxim has been interviewed on paranormal talk shows, including George Noory’s Coast to Coast and Art Bell’s Midnight in the Desert, and was a guest speaker at the 2025 Butler Paranormal Conference. He is a Hernando resident, a Vietnam Veteran, and an active member of the Citrus Writers of Florida. He is an advocate for literacy in schools and the community.
