Why did you start volunteering?

“I have always loved to read so volunteering at the library was an easy choice. I also worked at a Middle School Library for 16 years and really enjoyed it.”

Has volunteering changed how you see the library?

“The library has so much to offer besides great books. There are many activities and programs for all interests and age groups.”

What’s been one of your favorite volunteer moments?

“I feel a real sense of accomplishment after processing books on CDs and movies on DVDs. I really enjoy working in Material Managements and Acquisitions Department especially with my daughter Karen Fellows.”

What’s something you would say to encourage someone else to volunteer?

“If you have some extra time and enjoy working with some really nice people come to the library.”
