Introducing “Heritage Hour” at the Floral City Library

The Floral City Library has partnered with the Floral City Heritage Council to develop a new program called Heritage Hour, which will be a monthly program held at the library. The focus will be on historic events, artifacts and information that helped build Floral City and Citrus County.

Held the 4th Wednesday of every month, January’s topic is “The Great Train Wreck of 1956”, the head-on collision that happened approximately 5 miles from the library. Join us on  Wednesday, January 25 at 2:00 PM for this fascinating look into history!

Then mark your calendars for “A Snippet in Time” on February 22nd and “Growing Up in the Duval House” on March 22nd.

To keep up-to-date on these and all other programs offered by Citrus County Library System, visit our website at www.citruslibraries.org, call your nearest branch or follow us on Facebook and Instagram @CitrusLibraries.
