Why did you start volunteering?
“I actually transferred here from the Homosassa branch when I moved to Floral City. The great staff here have made staying with it worthwhile.”
Has volunteering changed how you see the library?
“It’s made me see just how much planning goes into everything: the displays, the programs, and even the every day tasks need a lot of foresight.”
What’s been one of your favorite volunteer moments?
“Helping create displays and prepping crafts for the kids. Knowing that everything I make contributes to the library is so fulfilling.”
What’s something you would say to encourage someone else to volunteer?
“If you feel like you need a satisfying way to spend your time, then please come to the library. The staff always appreciates you and will let you know it!”
