OneBlood Blood Drives at Citrus Libraries

OneBlood is a not-for-profit community asset responsible for providing safe, available and affordable blood to hospital partners and their patients. Did you know? Every two seconds of every day, someone needs blood. Blood has a limited shelf life; consequently, the supply must constantly be replenished. OneBlood, working in conjunction with Citrus County Library System, will be providing the opportunity for community members to donate blood.

Seize one of these opportunities to generously donate blood and to save lives. OneBlood will host a blood drive at the Lakes Region branch on Tuesday, August 23rd from 11:30-1:30. The Big Red Bus will be situated in the library parking lot.

OneBlood will host another blood drive at the Homosassa Public Library on Monday, August 29th from 10:00-12:00. The Big Red Bus will be stationed in the parking lot.
OneBlood awards incentives for donating blood as well, so be sure to take advantage of these pending opportunities to donate blood and to save lives.

Derek Vorobok
Instruction & Research Librarian at Homosassa Branch
