Gardening Galore at the Coastal Region Library!

At the Coastal Region Library, we are shining the spotlight on gardening! From protecting your plants to sprucing up your garden, there’s a program for everyone!

On May 8th at 1:00 P.M., join us for “All About Composting!” If you’ve been wondering why your compost bin isn’t looking like it should, or what the fuss about composting is in the first place, UF-IFAS is here to answer all your questions!

Be sure to drop by on May 12 at 1:00 P.M. for “Take Flight with Gardening: Gardening for Bees, Butterflies, and Birds!” Learn how to create the perfect garden for all things “winged.” Your garden could soon be home to a bevy of butterflies and birds!

With hurricane season in mind, join us for a Master Gardener Seminar about “Natural Disasters: Landscape Prep and Recovery” on May 22 at 1:00 P.M. Learn how to protect your plants from natural disasters, and how to help them bounce back after the fact.

Library programs are free and open to the public. For more information about this program, please visit our online calendar at attend.citruslibraries.org/events or call the Coastal Region branch at (352) 795-3716.
