From the Director’s Desk – November 2026

It’s hard to believe that it’s already November. This time of year gives us an opportunity to reflect and recognize what we are thankful for. At Citrus Libraries, I’m especially grateful for the wonderful library community we are fortunate to have.

First, I want to recognize our dedicated library staff. Their hard work, creativity, and commitment help drive the library forward and ensure that everyone who visits the library feels welcome. I am especially grateful for the many ways they share their talents with the community through a broad range of engaging programs, services, and connections throughout the year.

To our volunteers and Friends of the Library. Thank you for believing in our mission and supporting us generously. Whether you are giving your time, lending a hand during programs, supporting staff, or fundraising for libraries. Your contributions continue to have a lasting impact.

And thank you to the community for making the library an important part of Citrus County. I am reminded regularly of the amazing community partnerships that have flourished over the years and continue to this day. Your unwavering support and use of libraries reinforces just how important our work is.

This year I’m reminded that what makes our library special isn’t the building or the books, it’s the people in our community.

As we head into one of the busiest times of the year, we hope to see you at the library!

– Adam Chang, Library Services Director
