Get Cryptic with Cryptids at the Library

Throughout the month of March, embrace the mysterious by attending “Fabulous Cryptids” at your local library. We’ll dive into the stories and sightings behind some of the world’s most famous mysterious creatures, as well as discuss how cultures around the world have used mysterious creatures to explain the unexplained and build community traditions. Discover where folklore meets fact—and decide for yourself what might be lurking just beyond the edges of the known world.
You can attend “Fabulous Cryptids” at your local library on one of the following dates:
- Wednesday, March 4 at 3:00 PM at the Coastal Region Public Library in Crystal River
- Tuesday, March 10 at 1:30 PM at the Lakes Region Library in Inverness
- Monday, March 23 at 3:00 PM at the Central Ridge Library in Beverly Hills
- Tuesday, March 31 at 2:00 PM at the Homosassa Public Library
