From the Director’s Desk – December 2025

December is here and as 2025 ends, Citrus Libraries is launching a Community Needs Assessment and we want your voice to help guide our next chapter. As our community grows, so do the ways people use the library. Whether for lifelong learning, job support, digital access, early literacy, or simply a place to meet, we are here to help.
Over the next two months we’ll be gathering input through surveys, engagement sessions, and community conversations. The feedback you provide will help us:
- Identify what’s working well and what you love about our libraries
- Understand emerging needs, challenges, and service gaps
- Plan for new programs, spaces, and technologies
- Ensure the library continues to grow and adapt to the needs of our community
How to participate?
- Complete the online Community Survey available now
- Attend and participate in one of our engagement sessions, view all sessions by clicking here
- Visit us at an outreach event throughout the county
This assessment will directly inform our library’s long-term planning, shaping everything from programming and staffing to building updates and new initiatives.
We look forward to hearing from you and learning how we can best serve you, your family, and our community in the future.
