Working Dog: Do Not Pet
At one point or another all of us have seen a service dog with its human in public, but how much do you really know about the laws surrounding working animals and how that affects businesses?
On May 19 at 2:00 PM, come to Lakes Region Library for a presentation from Laura Lee Putzback with the Service Dog Alliance of Florida, and Merlyn Lewis, president of New Life Medical Service Dogs. This workshop will cover important topics such as: who can have a service animal, the responsibilities of the handler, and what to do when the needs of customers with and without service animals come into conflict.
