Service Dogs: The Law and How It Affects Businesses

Do you know where a service animal can go and under what conditions? Do you know what animals can be considered service animals?
Citrus Libraries will host an informative workshop to help businesses and community organizations understand and operationalize their rights and responsibilities when a service animal is on the premises.

Speakers Laura Lee Putzback (ADAC, Service Dog Alliance of Florida) and Merlyn Lewis (President, New Life Medical Service Dogs) strive to empower individuals with disabilities to become highly skilled service dog handlers who have access to a safe and inclusive community. The workshop will be offered on both Monday, July 25th at 5:30 PM and Friday, July 29th at 10:30 AM at the Central Ridge Library in Beverly Hills. Registration is required for this program.

To register, please call the Central Ridge Library at (352) 746-6622. To stay up-to-date on all of the classes and programs being offered at the library, you can follow @CitrusLibraries on Facebook and Instagram. You can also view our online calendar at citruslibraries.org.
