Local Author Max Schulman to Discuss Citrus County Trilogy at Central Ridge Library

The Central Ridge Library in Beverly Hills will host local author “Max” Schulman on Friday, January 14 at 10:30 AM. Schulman will be discussing his “Treasures of the Trails – Citrus County Trilogy.” In the trilogy, Max and graphic artist / lead photographer/ cartographer Tom Craig have created detailed guides to the natural resources of our county. Their glovebox gazetteers cover hiking, biking, the best birding areas, kayaking (written with Matt Clemons), and kayak fishing (authored by Gary Rankel) in great detail – all while providing extraordinary maps to get you to the most magical locations on the Nature Coast.

Schulman is a retired USAF aviator and DIA Intelligence Officer who made traveling the world a 40-year career. Like all the members of the “Treasures of the Trails” team, he is an environmental activist who is passionate about our community. In this presentation, Max will be discussing the series, its impact on our county and current issues in the local “trails community.”

This library program is free and open to everyone, with no registration required.
