Computers and Technology
- Indoor and Outdoor Wi-Fi -Connect your device to our wi-fi inside the libraries, or use our outdoor connection from your vehicle.
- Public Computers – 15 public computers with internet and printing access.
- Early Learning Station – 1 AWE Early Learning Station with activities and games enhancing childhood literacy development.
- Printing Station – Print and collect documents sent from our public computers. Black & White, and color copies.
- Scanning Station – Scan documents for free and save them to a device, or email them.
- A TV with DVD Player
- A Desktop Electronic Magnifier for those with low vision.
- A Desktop In-Focus Magnifier Lamp to magnify documents and images for those with low vision.
Special Publications and Collections
- Carroll Cave Collection for Literacy – Carroll was a lifelong, avid educator and environmentalist. She believed that education, wisdom, and compassion are imperative to a life well lived. She was an active member of the Friends of the Floral City Library, the Early Childhood Coalition and Citrus County Library Advisory Board, as well as a Library adult literacy tutor. This collection celebrated the lasting contributions Carroll made to future generations. In her memory, the purpose of this collection is to promote the pursuit of literacy.
- Floral City Community Memorial Garden Memorial Book – The Floral City Community Memorial Garden is located next to the Library and maintained by the Floral City Garden Club. There are no names in the garden, only memories. Names of those being honored and the person honoring them are placed in this memorial book.
- Floral City Heritage Museum Display – The Floral City Heritage Council has a rotating Floral City history display from the Museum inside the Library.
- Magazine Publications including:
- BookPage – a monthly publication available at all branches, with reviews, interviews, and news about upcoming books.
