Renew a Library Card
Library cards are automatically renewed the day they expire. Make sure your information is up to date in your account.
Library cards are active for 3 years. We’ll send you a reminder by email that your card will be expiring in 30 days and attempt to automatically renew your library card the day it expires. Make sure your account information is up to date for the automatic renewal. You can also renew by visiting your library once you get the reminder email or if the automatic renewal did not renew your card.
Our system will verify your information, then renew your account. By renewing your library card, you will not receive a new card, your existing card and account will be extended for 3 years.
Automatic renewals are only available for Adult card holders. Juvenile, Reciprocal, and Non-resident cards must be renewed at your library.
Non-residents:
Non-resident cards are active for 1 year and can be renewed yearly for $15, they cannot be automatically renewed. If you have a non-resident card and you are unable to renew in person due to not being in state you may mail a check or money order, made payable to the Citrus County Library System.
