Hurricane Prep with a Digital Twist

Hurricane season is upon us and with that comes the seemingly endless preparations. The Citrus County Library System has designed a class specifically geared toward making sure your digital preparations have begun as well. This class includes ways to use your phones, apps, websites, and other technology to make sure you won’t be caught off guard. The first class will be held at the Homosassa branch on Wednesday, June 2nd at 10:15 AM. Two additional sessions of this class will be held in July – one on Thursday, July 1st at 10:15 AM at the Central Ridge branch and another on Thursday, July 8th at 2:00 PM at the Coastal Region branch.

Classes with Citrus Libraries are free, but registration is required. You can register by visiting or by calling your nearest branch. To stay up-to-date on all of the classes and programs being offered at the library, you can follow @CitrusLibraries on Facebook and Instagram.
