File Management

Central Ridge Library ~Thursday, July 20, 10:15 AM-12:15 PM~

Electronic files contain everything from the commands that make computers run to the information you find and create. Knowing how to find, save, move, share, create, and use these files is a critical skill at all levels of computer use. This class will cover how to create and save files, navigate through the files on your computer, and recognize different file types, as well as how to delete or retrieve files. We will also discuss the different storage options you will have for your files. It is recommended that you have taken our Microsoft Word: Getting Started class and/or have a good working knowledge of that program.
