When Elvis Came to Town...

When Elvis Came to Town logoCelebrate the Fiftieth Anniversary of the premiere of "Follow That Dream" at the Old Courthouse Heritage Museum and head back to July 1961: "When Elvis Came to Town."

Dates and Times:

Friday, April 20th -- 7:30pm
Saturday, April 21st -- 2:00 and 7:30pm

Sunday, April 22nd -- 2:00pm

Nearly fifty-one years later, the original musical stage production "When Elvis Came to Town" highlights the rollicking six weeks when Elvis Presley came to town to film the climactic court scene in "Follow That Dream."

Tickets are $25. Get them before they're sold out!

Training: POD Disaster Relief

This course emphasizes the importance of how you can be prepared to help your fellow citizens in the aftermath of a disaster -- specifically when it comes to the distribution of life-sustaining supplies to survivors. 

After a brief introduction, participants will be trained in safety, equipment, and resource accountability. In times of disaster, your community needs your help. Sign up now!

Volunteer: Beverly Hills Cleanup

NVW logo2012This month during National Volunteer week, give some of your time to your community at the Beverly Hills Cleanup.

Strong volunteers build strong communities. As part of the Great American Cleanup and National Volunteer Week, take part in something great at the Beverly Hills Cleanup on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 8:00am--12:00pm at the Beverly Hills Recreation Center (77 Civic Circle, Beverly Hills).
